Why is endodontics frequently seen as difficult, often challenging and also unpredictable?

The most critical factors of an Endo treatment is cleaning, debridement and disinfection of the root canal. Despite many advances, within the past 100 years, general endodontics has experienced relatively small developments in disinfection techniques and protocols. The hands-on workshop will cover Endodontics in general, including endo diagnosis, treatment techniques, CBCT to access cavity, root canal preparation (tips and tricks), obturation, as well as post-endo restoration. Theoretically, the limitations of existing protocols, the evidence, available studies, and the more recent endo advances will be discussed.

Miguel dives into fascinating evidence from academic research centres, and will teach you the best possible standard of minimally invasive dental care with select technologies that master time, simplicity and efficiency for your best longterm results ever!

Laser user or not, single wavelength or dual, this workshop is applicable to all, as Miguel teaches the protocol for laser-supported protocols or non-. Wrap the day with a bang with an expert-lead hands-on laser-endo skills training, using diode and / or erbium lasers, as an intro or up-skill, as applicable to each delegate. Since lasers have been shown in all fields of medicine to have profound positive benefits for patients and clinicians, dentistry is no different. FAQ's

I am not comfortable with Endodontics at all. Can this Endo Workshop be useful for me?

Totally! Endodontics is thought and seen as rather difficult and subject to innumerous sources of failures. The technique we present is straight-forward and any dentist is able to incorporate it into their general dentistry daily practice, improve their results and avoid common Endo failures immediately.

Is this an advanced workshop?

The most advanced technology aims to be user-friendly, and this is no exception. We will also go over common Endodontic complications such as abscesses, re-treatments and persistent / severe Apical Periodontitis, canal sclerosis, traumas, fractured instruments, root resorptions, etc. Therefore, Endodontic specialists and enthusiasts are indeed encouraged and welcomed for this Endo update which will be well worthwhile in improving efficiency and results, and saving valuable time.

I use a diode laser, will it be worth attending for me?

Absolutely. Protocol adaptations for single wavelength, dual and excluding laser will be taught. Lasers have been shown in all fields of medicine to have profound positive benefits for patients and clinicians alike. Dentistry is no different.

I don't use lasers, will it be worth attending for me?

Certainly. Miguel teaches the protocols for both laser-supported endo (single & dual wavelength) or non laser-supported endo.The workshop will cover Endodontics in general - the limitations of existing protocols, the evidence and available studies, and what advances have been concluded in laser-supported Endodontics. Miguel shares fascinating evidence, protocols and studies in laser-supported Endo, using single wavelength and dual wavelength compared to traditional techniques and what to do if you are using or not using laser/s. Therefore this workshop is certainly applicable to laser users and non laser users.
