Direct composite veneers!
Product: Charisma Diamond by Kulzer

Direct Composite Restorations
Only the deep hypoplasia lesions were removed, and composite restorations were performed. The mamelons and translucent areas of tooth 11 belong to the restoration, while those of tooth 21 are part of the natural tooth.
In single-tooth restorations, perfectly mimicking the optical characteristics of the adjacent tooth is truly challenging.
Capturing the right intensity of mamelons and translucency is the most demanding step of the process.

It is our pleasure to bring to the centre of our clinical celebration, a live cooking experience at lunch time through which we share our respect for beautiful ingredients and a passion for bringing people together over great food! Bring your colleagues for a real fun day of learning with the energetic and inspiring Dr Esra! A great way to start a new year!
Prof. Dr. Esra Uzer Çelik is hosting a "Lecture & Live Demo Day" as well as "Hands-On Courses". Is it advisable to attend both?
Ideally. The lecture and hands-on complement each other. The full-day lecture provides the complete theoretical foundation, clinical protocols, and a microscope live demonstration. The hands-on course builds directly on those principles with guided exercises, one-on-one assistance, and practical execution of the techniques.
For the most comprehensive learning experience and best clinical results, attending both days is strongly recommended if possible - however the hands-on workshops are limited to 16 delegates each (x3 hands-on courses), and are ideal for clinicians aiming to elevate their anterior composite restorations with confidence and precision, and wanting to maximise learning from a trailblazer like Prof. Esra.
I’ve attended some Hands-On Composite course before. Should I attend?
Absolutely. Not all composite courses are the same. Techniques, philosophies, materials, and aesthetic protocols continue to evolve rapidly. Prof. Dr. Esra Uzer Çelik brings a distinctive approach grounded in the latest evidence-based principles of morphology, shade-matching, optical layering, and high-end finishing–polishing workflows.
Even if you’ve done a composite course in the past, each educator teaches different systems, anatomical styles, strategies for creating natural texture, and methods for achieving predictable colour integration. Exposure to multiple perspectives is one of the fastest ways to refine your technique and expand your clinical consistency.
Composite dentistry is advancing quickly, with new materials, translucency options, tints, opaquers, matrices, and simplified yet more sophisticated layering concepts emerging constantly. Engaging with global leaders helps you stay current, sharpen your eye for detail, and elevate the quality and longevity of your anterior restorations.
In short: If you want to keep improving, stay updated with international trends, and strengthen your aesthetic outcomes, attending this course will add meaningful value — even if you’ve already attended other composite workshops.
I’ve heard of Kulzer and have been thinking about trying some of the products. Do you recommend I do, and why?
Yes — Kulzer is highly regarded globally for its consistency, optical quality, and scientifically driven materials, especially in the field of aesthetic composite dentistry. Their products are known for excellent handling, long-term colour stability, reliable adhesion, and predictable layering behaviour, which makes them a favourite among clinicians who prioritise both aesthetics and durability.
Kulzer’s Venus composite line, bonding systems, and finishing–polishing solutions align exceptionally well with modern aesthetic protocols, including the techniques Prof. Dr. Esra Uzer Çelik teaches. If you are looking to elevate your anterior work with materials that respond well to advanced morphology and layering techniques, Kulzer is an excellent range to explore.
As the new official agent for Kulzer in South Africa, SciVision can support your transition with guidance, product selection advice, and hands-on exposure to ensure you get the most out of the materials from day one.
We also offer a complimentary “Power Hour” info session, either in-practice or at the SciVision Medical Training Centre, where our team will walk you through the range, the clinical indications, and the workflow tips that will fast-track your understanding and confidence with the products.
Trying Kulzer is a worthwhile step if you want predictable aesthetics, high-quality chemistry, and a system that pairs beautifully with the latest international composite techniques.
